Registration Fees for FUNdamentals (All Ages Welcome)

The registration fee for this program will be $350 and must be paid in full before the player goes on the ice.  Although the OGHA only receives it’s ice allocation in the mid-July timeframe we will do our best to continue to provide the same standardized schedule as in the past which has been Sat 8-9:00 am and Sun 3:30-4:30pm at the Carleton University Ice House.  This program will begin around mid-September and finish the weekend prior to Ontario's school March break.  Also, the program will not run Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas break or Ontario's Family Day weekend.

Tryout Fees for Competitive Teams

Competitive team tryouts take place in April/May and early September depending on the tier.  The schedule is available on the OGHA website several weeks prior to the start of tryouts and can also be found on our Facebook site.  Players must pay the tryout fee prior to the first tryout session.

The fee for April/May tryouts is $125.

The fee for September tryouts is $100.

An additional fee of 30$ will apply to those that require an OGHA tryout jersey.

Note: Players who tryout in the spring but are not selected for a team do not pay additional fees to continue in competitive team tryouts in the fall.

There will be no refund of tryout fees to players who attend a tryout for a competitive team.  If a player withdraws from tryouts after registering but prior to attending, the registration fee will be refunded minus a $50 administration fee.  To withdraw from tryouts and request a refund of the registration fee, please contact the Registrar.

Registration Fees for Competitive Players

The registration fee for competitive players is $825 (see fees for full-time goalies below).  The registration fee for the Lady 67s Intermediate/Senior Team is $920.  The fee is higher to cover the registration costs for the Junior Women’s Hockey League.

For teams that are selected in the spring, a minimum of $200 must be paid by Jun 1st, and the full registration fee must be paid by June 30 (50$ early bird discount will apply if paid in full by 1st July).  On July 1, the registration fee will increase by $100. Players who have not paid in full by July 31 and have not committed to an alternate payment schedule with the OGHA treasurer will be removed from their teams.

For teams that are selected in the fall, the registration fee must be paid in full by October 15 (50$ early bird discount will apply if paid in full by July 1). On October 16, the registration fee will also increase by $100. Players who have not paid in full by October 31 and have not committed to an alternate payment schedule with the OGHA treasurer will be removed from their teams.

If a competitive player leaves the team for reasons other than medical, the registration fee is forfeited.

Additional Team Fees

Families should be aware that all players will be asked to pay team fees in addition to their registration fee to cover the cost of tournaments, additional ice rental costs and other team expenses.

Registration Fees for Full-time Goalies

The registration fee for all full-time goalies will be $500 and must be paid in full by October 15 (50$ early bird discount if paid in full by July 1).  This is a new initiative to help the OGHA build it’s current pool of goalies as they are an integral part of the team and the sport of hockey.  Included in the fee are 10 free goalie training sessions.
